The Lord by wisdom hath founded the earth;
By understanding hath He established the heavens.
By His knowledge the depths are broken up,
And the clouds drop down the dew.
Surely it is grace immeasurable that thus leads the One who upholds all things by the word of His power, to concern Himself about the steps of His creatures.
The word of God is but another expression of the wisdom that spoke worlds into existence, and it is “written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.”
